Climate Preservation

We believe that future generations have a right to grow up without the fear of droughts, famine, and the extinction of countless species impacting their lives. By supporting The Climate Reality Project our aim is to ensure the future quality of life for those to come and the longevity of our planet’s habitats.

We've been able to encourage these preservation goals through the combined effort of our members, along with the generous support of our data partner, retailMetrix, who provides a robust data analytics platform developed by third and fourth-generation grocers, designed to revolutionize business operations through data-driven decisions. From optimizing sales and reporting to managing labor and product insights, retailMetrix empowers retailers to achieve unparalleled success in today's competitive market.

Who are they:

The Climate Reality Project is a non-profit focused on climate change education and advocating for climate solutions available today. The organization is made up of a diverse group of passionate individuals who’ve come together to solve the greatest challenge facing humanity. They are activists, cultural leaders, organizers, scientists, and storytellers committed to building a sustainable future together. The organization is a consolidation of two environmental organizations, the Alliance for Climate Protection and the Climate Project, both founded in 2006 by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.

How they help to combat and spread awareness about climate change:

They recruit, train, and mobilize people to become powerful activists, providing the skills, campaigns, and resources to push for aggressive climate action and high-level policies that accelerate a just transition to clean energy.

Since 2006. the group has trained over 31,000 “changemakers” worldwide. The result is a global network of activists leading the fight for climate solutions through over 10 branch offices located in – Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, South Africa and a partnership in China – with 140 chapters across the US alone.

Alongside these efforts, their dynamic communications initiatives connect climate and behavioral science with the emotional power of compelling stories, raising awareness and inspiring action in online audiences everywhere.

What is their vision:

“We believe that equity, fairness, and the fully voiced engagement of frontline communities most impacted by climate change are essential components of any enduring climate solution and that to solve the climate crisis, we must pursue a just transition to a clean energy economy that nurtures healthy and sustainable communities and ecosystems.”
